World NRI Council invites entries for 'Rashtra Ratna' - 'Pravasi Ratna' Awards

Delhi, India Jul 24, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - NRI welfare organization, World NRI Council is inviting direct applications and nominations for the 2022 edition of its 'Rashtra Ratna' & 'Pravasi Ratna' Awards.

The 'Rashtra Ratna' Award honors exceptional Indian Personalities and Organizations who have made noteworthy contributions to the betterment and empowerment of Indians and ultimately, their motherland, India.

Winners of the award from the art, social and culture segments will be honored with a cash prize of INR 50K along with the Rashtra Ratna Trophy and Certificate. Meanwhile, winners from other segments of life will receive the Award Trophy and Certificate.

Individuals and Organizations can submit their applications with a 'Statement of Purpose' to [email protected] on or before the 31st of August 2022. General Public can also nominate Individuals and Organizations that they consider deserving of the honors.

The Council has also introduced the 'Pravasi Ratna' Award to honor Indian Citizens, NRIs, PIOs, and Organizations owned or managed by them for making considerable contributions to the betterment and empowerment of NRIs, and residents of the country they serve, and ultimately, their motherland, India.
