TheWoofBookGroup.com Announces National Labrador Retriever Day

January 24, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - Laguna Niguel, CA - As part of its ongoing series of National Dog Breed Day celebrations, TheWoofBook.com announces January 24th as National Labrador Retriever Day. America’s most popular dog breed, Labrador Retrievers are friendly, outgoing and active animals, characteristics which make them perfect for families looking for a medium to large size dog.

Mallory Lahkota, Breed Ambassador for TheWoofBook.com, says “Because labs are so easy going in their personalities, many people think they are a low energy pet. Nothing could be more wrong. These dogs have energy to spare!”

Because of their athletic nature, Labs need exercise. Lahkota cautions, “While Labrador Retrievers make great family pets, this is a breed that requires lots of exercise, such as long sessions of fetch the ball or swimming. This level of activity is important to keep them in the best physical and mental shape.”

Sturdy, well built dogs, Labs stand from 21.5 to 24.5 inches at the shoulder, depending on the sex, and weigh in from between 55 and 80 pounds. Strikingly beautiful, Labs come in three color coats: yellow, black and deep chocolate. Unlike some breeds who form a deep connection with a single family member, Labs will bond with the entire family and easily socialize with other dogs.

TheWoofBookGroup.com is the fastest growing group on Facebook for dog parents of Labrador Retrievers and any other breeds who want a fun, welcoming place to show off their canine companions and socialize with other members.

Dog parents who want to get in on the fun can go to TheWoofBookGroup.com to join the group. Membership is completely free.
